Note: You will be partially refunded the difference, if you decide to cancel or forget to come in for your 2nd visit. You will be charged $149.00 plus any upgrades, or add-ons, plus tax.

A $37 service/sitting fee will be collected if you decide to cancel after commencement of 2nd visit.

Disclaimer

Women seeking an elective prenatal ultrasound at cherished memories must already be receiving treatment with a health care provider for prenatal care and have already undergone a medical diagnostic ultrasound to confirm due date, screen for fetal anomalies, and for any other pregnancy related concerns. During the elective ultrasound our certified technicians will be conducting a limited diagnostic exam to confirm number of babies, baby presentation, placental location, heart rate, and gender determination. Only if an abnormality is suspected your physician will be notified, and a report will be provided. Please note, that we cannot, and will not replace valuable diagnostic exams regularly ordered by your prenatal provider.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an elective prenatal ultrasound?

An elective prenatal ultrasound is a non-medical ultrasound experience designed to let expecting families see and bond with their baby. It does not replace diagnostic ultrasound or prenatal care from your healthcare provider.

How long will my appointment be?

Appointment times vary depending on the service. Basic services may take about 10 minutes, while gender determination and 3D/4D sessions may take 15 to 20 minutes or more. Most visits average about 30 to 40 minutes overall.

Can I bring my friends and family?

Yes. Family and friends are welcome to share the experience. If you plan to bring a larger group, please let us know so we can help accommodate your visit.

Does insurance cover elective ultrasound?

No. Insurance does not cover elective ultrasound services. We accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards, and gift cards are also available.
